Fees for all youth Baseball/Softball Leagues for 2012:
Tot T-Ball - $10.00
Boys & Girls T-Ball - $10.00
Pee Wee Baseball - $12.00
Little Hitters Softball - $12.00
Pigtail Softball - $18.00
Ponytail Softball - $18.00
Cal Ripken Minor Baseball - $23.00
Cal Ripken Major Baseball - $23.00
Junior Babe Ruth Baseball - $32.00
Registration Deadline is Friday, March 30, 2012
After deadline, a $10.00 late fee will be assessed to your registration fee.
Pee Wee Baseball
This league is for boys ages 7 & 8 years (by May 1, 2012). A pitching machine will be used. Each player will bat & play defense each inning. Games will be played at the Fisher South Field on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Basic fundamentals will be taught with emphasis on sportsmanship & team play. No score will be kept. An 8 year old all-star game will be played at the end of the season.

Cal Ripken and Junior Babe Ruth All-Stars
Leagues will form All-Star Teams in each age division in early June to compete at district play, possibly state competition. District tournaments will be held within the first two weeks of July, with the State Tournaments being held on the following dates:

9 Year old - Garden City (July 12 - 16)
10 Year old - Liberal (July 12 - 16)
11 Year old - Parsons (July 19 - 23)
12 Year old - Paola (July 12 - 16)
13 Year old - Garden City (July 19 - 24)
14 Year old - Haysville (July 19 - 24)
13 - 15 yr. olds - Coffeyville (July 19 - 24)

Youth Baseball/Softball Registration Deadline:
Friday, March 30, 2012 - Games from the sponsored leagues will begin on May 12th. All leagues will begin the week of May 14th and schedule to be finished by the first of July.
Cal Ripken - Minor
This league will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays and is for ages 9 & 10 years (by May 1, 2012). Players will begin to live pitch to the batters. All players will bat, but only nine players will play defense. All-star teams in each age division will be selected by mid June to compete in post season tournament play within the first two weeks of July.
Cal Ripken - Major
This league will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays and is for ages 11 & 12 years (by May 1, 2012). All players will be in the batting order, but only nine players will be allowed on defense. Pitchers will pitch from 46 feet. With bases being set at 70 feet. All-star teams in each age division will be selected by mid June to compete in post season tournament play within the first two weeks of July.
Junior Babe Ruth
For players age 13 through 15 (by May 1, 2012). All-star teams in each age division will be selected by mid June to compete in post season tournament play within the first two weeks of July.
All Head Coaches and All-Star Coaches of Cal Ripken and/or Babe Ruth Teams are required to get certified as a coach. The certification will be explained at the coaches meetings.
13 - 15 year olds will be divided up accordingly dependant on the number of participants registered. Games will be played in Fort Scott and surrounding communities.
