FSHS BASEBALL CAMP

FSHS Baseball Coach Josh Regan and his players will provide instruction on hitting, defense, pitching as well as other aspects of baseball. Campers will meet in the morning from 10 - 12 noon each day. Each paid participant will also receive a camp T-shirt.

 

Ages: 7 - 12 years

Time: 10 a.m. - 12 noon

FSHS SOFTBALL CAMP

FSHS Softball Coach Sean Krokroskia and his players will provide instruction on hitting, defense, pitching as well as other aspects of softball. Campers will meet in the morning from 9 - 10:30 a.m. each day. Each paid participant will also receive a camp T-shirt.

 

Ages: 7 - 12 years

Time: 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

FSHS VOLLEYBALL CAMP

Coach Carol Bingesser and her players will instruct campers on the basic skills of volleyball. Each paid participant will receive a camp Tshirt. The camp will be held at Buck Run Community Center.

 

Dates: July 10th - 13th

Sessions:   5th - 8th grade (1:00 - 3:00 p.m.)

FSHS FOOTBALL CAMP

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the skills of football from FSHS Coach Bob Campbell, Assistant Coaches and Players. Each paid participant will receive a camp T-shirt. The camp will be held at the Tiger practice field east of the high school.

 

Dates: July 10th - 13th

Ages:   3rd - 8th grade (9:00 - 10:30 a.m.)

Little Athletes Camp

 

This week long camp will introduce a variety of sports and techniques to your little ones.  Kids will get an opportunity to learn skills in  basketball, soccer, dodgeball & volleyball.  Although we will be teaching techniques, our goal is to develop an appreciation for all types of sports and emphasize sportsmanship.  The camp will be held at Buck Run Community Center from May 30th - June 2nd from 1 - 2 p.m.

 

Location:   Buck Run C.C.

Ages:   4 - 7 years

Fee:   $5.00

 

Sports Camp

 

Come join the fun!  Learn the fundamentals of  basketball, soccer, dodgeball & volleyball.  Skills will be taught for each sport with games being played each day.  The class will be held  on May 30th - June 2nd from 2 - 3 p.m.  Please pre-register at  BRCC.

Youth Tennis Program

 

 Tennis can be a lifetime sport which can be played competitvely or for recreation for years. Boys and Girls in grades 2 - 12 are encouraged to take part in the summer tennis program. Basic fundamentals will be covered along with a mix of tennis related games and activities.   There will be four different skill levels. The High School Head Tennis Coach Lynn Barr will be teaching the Recreation Youth Tennis Program this year with over 20 years experince in coaching.  Sign up at BRCC  The fee of $10 is due upon registration.  Fee will cover lessons as well as the tournament entry and awards. Lessons  will be held from June 5th through July 6th at the FSHS Tennis Courts.

 

Pre Tennis

 

This program will be for children in grades 2 & 3. The goal here will be to introduce tennis related or lead up skills for younger children with emphasis on racket and balls.  Class will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8 - 8:30 a.m.

 

Level I  (Beginner to Intermediate)

 

Continued work on racket and ball skills along with introduction to basic stroke production and tennis related games. This program will be for children in grades 4 - 8.  Class will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

 

Level II. (Intermediate to Advance)

 

Continued work on basic stroke production along with single and double plays. This program will be for children in grades 4 - 8.  Class will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

 

Level III. (Advance Play)

Tot Lot Day Camp

 

All aboard!  It’s destination recreation!   Children will participate in storytelling, arts & crafts, organized games and general playtime.  To insure maximum supervision, there will be one leader for every 6 children.  This program will be supervised by FSRC Recreation Supervisor Dave Fly.  The camp will be held from June 5th - 28th on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.

 

Location: Gunn Park - Shelter House # 3

BRCC if inclement weather occurs

Ages: 5 - 7 Years

Fee: $10.00

 

Adventure Camp

 

This week long camp will be an adventure everyday.  Participants will enjoy arts & crafts, a scavenger hunt, water games and more.  Come check it out!  The camp will be supervised by FSRC Staff.  Maximum supervision will be enforced at all times.  The camp will be held from July 10th - 14th from 2 - 4 p.m.

Ages: 8 - 12 years

Tiger Drama Camp

 

FSHS Drams Director Angie Bin and the FSHS Thespians will  introduce children to the basics of theatre and acting through this fun and energetic drama workshop.  Be ready for active participation in basic acting techniques such as improvisation, characterization, movement, vocalization and pantomime. Campers will meet in Corey’s Gym at BRCC. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt.  Make checks payable to FSHS Thespians.

 

Dates: May 30th - June 2nd    12:30 - 3 p.m.

Ages: 1st - 9th grades

FSHS SOCCER CAMP

This camp is for boys or girls entering grades 2 - 8 that are interested in learning soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting & trapping. All paid participants will receive a Tiger Camp T-shirt

SESSIONS:

2 - 8 grade (5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)

2017 Junior Golf Camp

 

 REGISTRATION: Registration will begin May 1st, 2017. Juniors may register to attend camp at the Woodland Hills Clubhouse. 2017 Junior Camp will cost $50 per child and will be limited to the first 8 juniors per session. Payment is due at Registration, check or cash only. (Make Checks Payable to Shannon O’Neil)

 

FORMAT: Each Junior will be able to attend 6 one-hour group golf lessons taught by PGA Professional Shannon O’Neil. Lessons will cover the basics of grip, stance, swing, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette. All skill levels are welcome though the lessons will best serve those at the beginner level.

 

DATES: Lessons will be held at the Woodland Hills Golf Course on the following dates: June 6,13,20,27 & July 11, 18.

 

 TIME: Juniors who are 8-10 yrs.: 9-10 am Juniors who are 11-13 yrs.: 10:15 – 11:15 am
